Use this Nozzle reducer to convert your older lamp to fit a modern standard-sized finial. Simply screw the 1 8 IP female end over your existing (3 8 inch outside diameter rod) then screw into your 1 4 – 27M male end (1 4 outside diameter) into your standard sized threaded finial.

• Designed for older lamp harps that have a wider threaded rod connector (This threaded rod is called 1 8 IP which is the most common threaded rod size used in many light fixtures.  If the outside diameter of your threaded rod is 3 8 , then this is the adapter you need if you want to use a standard finial that is cut with 1 4 -27 threads.  95% of finials sold today use this size fitting.
